He will ignore us

I started a new bible study called Jesus and Women. Today we were talking about how God always takes us out to the wilderness to teach us lessons.

Hosea 4:6

In Hosea ,God is warning the Israelites that not following his laws, and not acknowledging him, he will reject us. It reminds me of much of what is going on in the world right now. We in America have fallen so far away from God. We are going through a pandemic, a racial battle, and so much hatred over politics and masks and the list goes on and on. It’s so sad and hurts me deeply. I can only imagine what God must be thinking. Yet he already knew all this would happen.

It makes me beg the question, “When will we realize that we must turn to God as a nation and as a world.?” I ask if anyone has a better option, because I certainly do not.

Hosea 3:1

I often get impatient while waiting for the Lords return. Even though I should not be. I’m ready to be in heaven, where this chaos and hatred and sadness doesn’t exist. Then I realized today that Jesus had to suffer to save ALL of us. I can suffer here on Earth while others are finding God, their salvation.

Hosea 6:3

Let’s us come together and pray over America and the world. That we will turn from our wicked ways and seek God and his kingdom. That he will heal our land.
