The Lord will Provide

In my study today, Elijah was commanded by the Lord to go to a widow who had nothing but a handful of flour and a little olive oil. She had to feed her son and herself but Elijah wanted fed first.

What would you have done if you were that widow? Would you have trusted this man you did not know? He told her, “For this is what the Lord the God of Israel says, “ the jar of flour will not be used up and the jug of oil will not run dry until the day of the Lotd sends rain to the land “ 1Kings 17:14

She did what he said and God did provide. She kept pouring and they kept eating.

1 Kings 17:16

I think her faith is very admirable because if I’m being honest, I don’t know that I would have done the same. But if you think about what would have happened if she had not trusted, her and her son would probably had died because they would have run out.

I think this scripture should remind us not to rely on ourselves. We must put our faith and trust in the Lord for He us the provider of ALL things. We are nothing without Him. He is our creator and sustainer.

I hope you all stay blessed and keep pouring!!

Jesus is the Reason

I always have so many Christmas memories. I’m sure you do too. I also love to remember first and foremost that Jesus is front and center. That’s why I created this beautiful 6×6 album focused on Jesus
