The Authority of Jesus

We are one year into the post-Roe generation. I feel in my heart as a believer in Christ and a Pro-life advocate, that there is something deeper that happened on June 24, 2022. I do not believe the Supreme Court Decision is a reason for the Church to boast. This was not a "haha we won" decision. The fight to end abortion is not even close to being over. As far as I see, as long as any abortion at any gestational age is legal, the fight has not been won. I believe the decision to abolish this unjust law at the federal level was Jesus Christ showing His authority over His creation. The ending of this unjust law of the land was God showing His mercy upon this nation. On June 24, 2022, the Lord gave the United States of America a second chance to repent over the sin of 63 million senseless murders. “ If my people, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and I will heal their land “(2 Chronicles 7:14, NIV). I believe God is giving the people of the United States not only a second chance to repent but protecting them from making a horrific mistake. A mistake that can not be undone.

I know a lot of you do not believe this, but for me, the sin of abortion, the violent death of babies, and the guilt that women then have to carry with them until they can overcome that guilt through Jesus Christ, grieves me to my soul.

Only God could be responsible for June 24, 2022. Only God would be able to orchestrate five individuals in the highest court of the land after fifty years and strengthen them for such a time as this. “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities , for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God (Romans 13:1).

Jesus showed His mighty power and authority that day. Only God will continue to protect Pregnancy Centers and churches from the wickedness coming against them for doing good. I know my God's protection is among them. To my friends who are standing up for the unborn, for the women who are struggling and in need of help financially, emotionally, and spiritually; take heart, because Jesus has not brought us this far to leave us. It is by His love, mercy, and grace that babies will now have a chance to fulfill their God-given purpose on this Earth, women will be spared more trauma and hurt that may have already been done to them, and a nation may be spared from God's wrath.

Thank you, Jesus! Please continue to shut down every wicked scheme and agenda that the kingdom of this world wants to inflict upon this nation and the people in it. May your glory shine in this land!
